This Ordinance was passed with six amendments on the

28th June, 1950.

2. The reasons for enacting this Ordinance are set out

in the Objects and Reasons to the Bill. A copy of such Bill is

attached.

30 The amendments above mentioned were the amendments

of form indicated in the note marked Annexure A to this Report.

40 The legislation under report has been the subject of

correspondence with the Secretary of State terminating with the

Governor's Staff savingram (Confidential) No. 299 of the 27th

April 1950 and the Secretary of State's telegram No.807 of the

24th May, 1950.
